The Luckyhill Children's Home Foundation started with one man's vision to make a change. Joseph Kingsley Eshun noticed the growing number of orphaned and abandon children in Accra, Ghana and decided to make a difference. Being an honest and trusted man in the community, Mr. Eshun realized his ability to save these children from the streets and provide them with food, shelter, and education.
Luckyhill Children’s Home Foundation is a non-governmental organization (NGO) created in 2001 and inaugurated on April 5, 2003. According to the Ghana's social welfare department, more than 2,400 children in Accra, Ghana became orphans each year.
The Foundation's purpose is to educate, guide, and protect the forgotten children of Ghana. Joseph Kingsley Eshun's vision is to give these children a better future by giving them support and direction. He believes providing the children the right opportunity will help them to grow up to be leaders and prominent people in the community.
